Anis de Flavigny Oval Tin Anis Candy

Produced in an abbey, the secret of this candy is an anise seed.  Anis de Flavigny Oval Tin Anis Candy has a slightly soft yet dense texture.  Sugar syrup is poured over a single fennel seed and allowed to dry.  This process is repeated dozens of times.  It takes 15 days to make each pastille.  Enjoy the sweet results!
