Laguiole Jean Dubost Colas Pradel

Was founded in 1900 by Mr. Pierre Dubost, a cutler's son and maker of the famous Laguiole knives. Production started in a small workshop and grew thanks to the founders son Mr. Jean Dubost, whose name signs these famous flatware and kitchen knives lines.

The Jean Dubost  Laguiole knife has been crafted in their area for over 200 years. The bumble bee found on Jean Dubost Laguiole ranges is an emblem of the area.
The Laguiole started out as a pocket folding knife, its popularity rose in the late 20th century. A table knife was then developed, handmade by craftsmen whose skills have been passed from generation to generation.

The blade made of high grade stainless steel, is stamped, ground and then polished withover 25 manual production stages. Quality, an integral part of this company production is controlled at each step in order to provide consumers with pleasure and the assurance of a long lasting use.
